Baby Rhino Day Fund
“Baby Rhino Day” will be an event held at Doan Thi Diem Primary School on 1st December 2018 for 300 primary students in Hanoi.
– It aims to enrich the knowledge of students about wildlife; to nurture their loves with wildlife and nature and to inspire them to protect wildlife and limit plastic consumption; to influence not only students but also their teachers and families which are potential consumers of wildlife products; and to raise fund for rhino calves in South Africa.
– Its activities include a running competition: Baby Rhino Run, an art competition: Wildart, a sharing session: Wise parents, a wildlife fair: Wildfair (to show information about wild animals), wildlife classes: Wildclasses, mini games: Wildgames, a wildlife exhibition: Wildexhibition, an award ceremony and the Wildbags (students utilize their crayons and pencils left from Wildart to draw their own canvas bags to use and abandon single-use plastic bags.
Currently, we need your support to organize it and also support to centers to take care of the rhino calves in South Africa. Our first period fund raised goal is $1,500 for logistic preparation so donate us to make an amazing event for our golden generation and to give a hand to reduce the demand of wildlife products in Vietnam.
Saving one rhino at a time, the corporate funding, community donations and support from caring Vietnamese and the global community, no matter how small, make a massive difference on the ground. With your support, we can ensure that our children will be able to enjoy the magnificent sight of a rhino roaming wild, knowing that our generation did not shy away from our responsibility to protect and preserve the precious natural heritage bestowed on us.
Thank you for supporting us!
